This is the future home for a fansite that will honor and commemorate the legendary song “Into The Night” by singer and composer Benny Mardones (1946–2020).
The song reached #11 on the American Top 40 in 1980; #20 when it re-emerged in 1989; and along the way also reached Adult Contemporary charts as well as Top 40 charts in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Benny released at least four versions of the song himself, each positioned in a different genre and each reflecting the long-range evolution of his tone, range, and voice.
The 2002 version from the album “A Journey Through Time” has been featured in soundtracks for television shows such as Breaking Bad and the movie Nerve.
Along the way, it has been covered and adapted by artists including (but not limited to) Lloyd Parks, Nick Kamen, Junior Tucker, Conrad Hilton, Usher, Mike Matisa, and more recently in duet format with Julio Iglesias, Jr.
This site will feature all of these.
It will also tell the poignant story behind the song itself: a tale of abandonment, hope, and endless possibilities.
